Chicali Tacos was born in 2014 with the intention of bringing Mexicali’s taco flair to Las Vegas. The Mexicali taco style is mesquite grilled meat served on flour or corn tortillas with a buffet of toppings. Our Taco Masters bring the passion to serve your guests at your corporate party, special event, family gathering and many more.

As Chicali Tacos continues the journey to become your favorite Las Vegas taco catering company, we want to cater every event with the same joy, respect and professionalism that motivated us to start the company.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How much do you charge?

A: Rates vary depending on the event and the logistics involved, but typically between $15-$17 per person. A $100 Taco Master fee will be added on events of 60-150 people. A $200 Taco Master fee will be added on parties of 151-250 people. A $300 Taco Master fee will be added on parties of 251 people or more. The additional Taco Master(s) will help speed up the service and have an smoother event.

Q: Are there any other fees?

A: Nevada Sales Tax is required. Nevada Sales Tax is currently at 8.375%. $60 for doing an event on The Strip. $150 for tailgating at Allegiant Stadium. Zip codes 89166, 89124, 89084 & 89143 are added a $30 + taxes transportation fee.

Q: Do you have a minimum spend per event?

A: Yes. The minimum spend per on site catering event is $375 + NX Taxes. The To Go/Curbside minimum spend is $375 + NV Taxes. It serves up to 25 people.

Q: How long do your events last?

A: Two hours of service. Additional service time available for an additional cost, but we start at $3.00 per person per extra hour.

Q: How much space do you need?

A: Our biggest taco cart is 8’x4’. The space needed is heavily dependent on your guest count and event type.

Q: Do you offer other menu items?

A: Yes! Please refer to our menu.

Q: When do I need to book my event? 

A: We need at least 48 hours to manage your event. Event dates are booked often, so it’s recommended you secure your date with a deposit. Deposits are $100 and are non-refundable.

Q: Do you provide chairs or tables for guests?

A: Not at this moment. 

Q: What happens if event is cancelled due to poor weather conditions?

A: Deposit will be returned or used towards a future date.


Q: Do you take credit cards as a form of payment?

A: Yes. We also take deposits thru Venmo, Apple Pay, checks, cash, Zelle, Bitcoin and other alt coins.


Q: What happen if less guests attend my event?

A: If less people attend, the client agrees to pay the minimum guest count guaranteed.


Q: Do you serve in public venues such as a park?

A: Yes. All permit requirements for outdoor service are the client’s responsibility but Chicali Tacos carries a one million dollar general liability insurance.
